The Stara Planina, or the Balkan mountain range, gave the Balkan peninsula its name. It is the largest mountain range in Bulgaria ca. 700km., its highest peak is Botev (2376m.), and it is divided into Western-, Central-, and Eastern sections.
The Balkan Mountain range is ideal for tourism and extreme sports with its steep rocks and appealing caves. The Balkan mountain range offers a wide variety of training sites, from Ribaritza, offering superb conditions for corporate and open courses. The Vratza mountains, offers exceptional opportunities for extreme courses. The Balkan Mountain range offers a wonderful variety of possibilities.

What I’ll remember the most is the mountains – they were mystical I thought beauty like this only existed only in legends. I don’t regret a single step I made during my course.

When I reached the peak was rewarded with a magnificent view. The whole course was very important for me, but not because of the things I did or learned, but because of the things I felt.
